Description:
Chauncey Ranch Auto boutique is a forty-one acre automotive mall with ten high-end dealerships, a full service car washing facility, and an off-road and handling test track. Located within the test track facility is a rainwater harvesting/stormwater reuse system. The system collects from rooftop, 50,530 square feet, and ground level, 41,818 square feet, catchment surfaces.
The system maintains a 500-gallon first flush, a 148,515-gallon corrugated metal pipe cistern, two 100-gallon pressure tanks, a ___________ horse power well pump, three probes for regulation of the high and low water levels in the cistern, and a control panel to regulate the system. The runoff water is used to irrigate desert “drip” landscape areas within the test track boundaries and to supply and replenish the off-road vehicle water feature/vehicle-testing element.
